There was a sauce….a very strange, enchanted sauce
So I have had some kind of pork dish (pork medallions, pork chops and then yesterday, barbecued pork salad). Apparently there is some kind of law here which dictates that one must douse said pork in a ridiculously sweet and somewhat peppery sauce. It’s either one of the new commandments Pope Benedict handed down or a council by-law, I’m not sure which.
If it's a council by-law, I may run in the next local government election on this issue alone.
The sauce is good for about the first half of the meal. After that, it’s evil. Plus it doesn’t go with lettuce.
Yep, that's all I got for youse this week - but I'll never give up.
No no no....I'll never give up.

love the title! hee!
thanks mex - but we both know it's all downhill from there.
:)
That's way more than I've got for the blogosphere this week.
Don't ever give up.
Ever.
Peppery = good. Sweet = kinda manky. I really can't believe there was a day (17 years ago) when every time I ate Asian, it was sweet and sour pork. I blame my sheltered (from proper food) upbringing.
