I got offered another job yesterday.
It was a good one too (although not quite as interesting as the one I’m doing now).
Today I went to a seminar and had several people I barely know introduce me to their colleagues in very glowing terms.
There was the most fantastic chocolate brownie slice at the seminar. It was very, very good (particularly as I am trying to curtail my intake of such things).
I am yet to have a “sharp intake of breath" moment in regards to the conservatism of my newly adopted town.
When will the honeymoon end?

Goodness! sounds delightful, and you must track down the brownie recipe.
Some honeymoons never end. Six years into my marriage and this one's still going (admittedly with added levels of complication and less cocktails by the pool since the childrens arrived)
More importantly, I have just noticed the Rebecca'a Empire quote at the top of this blog and there is much rock saluting going on here.

DO YOU HAVE A POOL? NO WONDER YOU AND HONEYBEAR HAVE CHILDREN IN THE FIRST PLACE THERE IS NOTHING SO ROMANTIC AS A POOL. Except when you have to clean it out.
And yes, childrens can have that effect on things at times.
R/E quote is a pretty recent addition, precipitated by my Ipod playing that song several thousand times (mainly because it is only half-full and I am a lazy git).
