Everybody was Kung Fu quoting

So after a small frisson of fear that my son had picked up the F word, I found out yesterday that in fact he has done just that.







My recent blog post about the offering of the expletive:







"Who is making that fucking noise? I wish they'd stop it"







....was actually a quote from Kung Fu Panda.






Master Shifu, in fact. So anyhoo, when trying attain inner peace, Shifu is interupted by a messenger and spits:








"Would whoever is making that FLAPPING noise please quiet down?"








When Grizzlewick saw that moment in the film yesterday, he said "See Mama? That's what he says!"

Phew! And also....

Best Dustin Hoffman role in years.

I'll bet you didn't know he's a red panda*. Well, at least according to National Geographic, and who am I to argue with them?

* Master Shifu, not Dustin Hoffman (although....insert short joke here).
